3.23-3.73 posi rear wanted

preferably with functioning disc brakes of course. Will purchase from disc to disc, or hub to hub if the brakes are drum (I have new drums anyway). The car is located outside of Ann Arbor, MI. Looking for local pickup or perhaps a delivery, as I am in Toledo for school/work right now. The rear end needs to bolt up to my 92 (I don't know what wouldn't, but you know how things go) and have working positraction. I have stock Formula wheels I intend on keeping, so a wider than stock rear would be out of the question right now.

Anything better than this damn 2.73 open with drums will be considered!

Ha, hey man when you stopped at my house to pick up those tires did you see the rear end that was sitting there? It's out of an 89 firebird formula WS6, posi drum rear i am not sure on what the gearing is, what ever is stock from that year i would assume. If your interested let me know and we will work somethin out.

haha damn, this is funny

I looked at the tech data and there is a wide range of gear ratios offered for an 89

Well if you want it you can have it for a $100, I also saw your other post saying you needed an exhaust? I have a set of Flowtech shorty headers and a mandrel bent Y-pipe for $150 too... I've got alot of other parts around too if you need anything else lol

As long as it's a 3.23 or better ratio with posi I'll take it!

And the exhaust I just ordered some replacement pipe to fix it, rather than replacing it. My y-pipe broke and I couldn't find a damn Hooker 2055 y-pipe, so I'm having my friend build me one in exchange for beer

I'll let you know what else I need- I'm sure I'm missing something important.

Mark a tire with chalk and rotate the input (pinion) one full rotation while counting the number of times the tire turns.
3.23 would be 3 and a quarter turns, 3.73 would be 3 and three quarters, etc.
