i am new to the whole camaro thing i have always had nissan 300zx's but i got hold of a 88 camaro with a v6 and redid the interior paint and rebuilt the v6 (just because the car came with everything to do all that with) i was gonna sell it but i fell in love with it so im basically wanting to make it either a 305 or 350 for as cheap as possible so if anyone has cheap parts i will need or even free parts pleae let me know you can email me at austinz32@yahoo.com i am located in the atlanta area thanks again

If you havent already, start looking for pick your own parts wrecking yards and or those back yard discarded 3rd gens, Craigslisting's and road side for sale signs are the places to score great buy's of parts and other odds and ends. Bartering is in!

This site is also a good resource for wanted and for sale parts, check the classifieds.

Now having said all of that, time for the swap talk. If you've never done it before dont expect it to go without a hitch or two. Better yet, buy a V8 car.

the best way to do this is to get a wrecked but complete V8 car and go to work, or better find a V8 car buy it then sell yours, with a rebuilt motor it should move fast, a lot of fathers want sport cars for thier teen's but don't want a V8 hot rod

 

i found a wrecked 86 5.0 h.o. for a grand it has 6600 miles on it would this be a good start do yall think thanks for you help
