400 block or built
I am seeing what is out there for 400 blocks (would prefer virgin bore) or built 400 blocks. Would like something close so shipping won't be an issue, but I am open to anything.
I can pay monies or I have a virgin 350 block that still needs machine work I could throw in with the deal if interested. Also have a Bakflip G2 hard tonneau cover with locking tailgate handle assembly for a Ford Ranger. I dont have the Ranger anymore but if you do, I can trade that as well.

Re: 400 block or built
virgin block?
you have to be kidding.
and where do you think they exist on engines that are not mass produced anymore for a 20 year old car?
if you can find them i would like to know where. gm may still have a stock but unless you buy a new gm crate engine you probably will not get one.
but you can get them in pretty good shape.

Re: 400 block or built
Im not sure if I want to sell the 400 block I was just replying to the guy who posted that they dont exist anymore. If I sell it I would want $300. I shipped a Merlin II block to Alabama it was 303 lbs and it cost $270 I guess the small block would probably be around $165-$190 .

I have a virgin bore 400 high nickel block. its been cleaned, inspected, and has new cam bearings and freeze plugs. I'm asking $400 for the block plus shipping from 24121 to your location. I can get pics if needed.
