Hey guys, the weather's starting to get a little nicer around here so I want to start work on my project Firebird starting with the motor. Now, the car does have a 69-79 Chevy truck 350 (casting 3970010) so if you have an engine that will interchange parts I will only need the bottom end (block with rotating assm still in place). If not, I'll need the whole thing. Would like to stay as cheap as I can without the engine needing to be rebuilt. I'm on a pretty tight budget so replacing the stuff in the current motor and sending it to the shop isn't really an option. I would also like to stay as close as possible to Phelps, NY, if too far delivery or meeting halfway would be required. I figure might as well scope out the possiblities before buying from the local yard (not the greatest yard by far). Thanks for any help.
