WTB: T56 swap

Hi, I am looking for a complete or near complete T56 swap that needs rebuilt. I am looking to spend $500-$850. Let me know what you have.

I have a great condition T5 that was just gone through by a transmission specialist at a transmission shop. I was having it rebuilt for my car, but I sold the car before it was installed. I had it completely taken apart, cleaned, and reassembled with any new parts that were needed (new input shaft). I can give you the name and phone number of the transmission shop where it was taken apart and reassembled.
I would take 450 for this perfect World Class T5 Transmission if you are interested.
I also have the complete hydraulic clutch setup that I am willing to throw in for free. This is the clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, and the line that connects the two together. This line is complete and doesn't need to be blead because it has not been separated.
I also have a bellhousing for this transmission that I don't need that I can throw in for free.
If you are interested, call me on my cell phone of 606-620-2723

You need more like $1300 at the VERY min. for a good 1. If you find a blown 1 for cheap by the time you fix it, your back up to $1300 min. or more.

You might just get very lucky and find someone who desperate or doesn't know what they have or what it is worth.

Your price range is more for a T5 swap, double that for a T56 swap.

Good luck

Re: WTB: T56 swap

I sold two T56 swaps, one with all thirdgen specific pieces and one without the thirdgen stuff, and both went for $1600.

Re: WTB: T56 swap

I am looking for a shot one because I'll have to get it built to handle the amount of torque i have anyways. So I could buy a shot one then have it rebuilt and beefed up a lil at the same time, which is cheaper than buying a usable tranny for 1300 then having it built up a lil.

And I know its pretty hard to find a cheap t56
