Chirping and chattering Transmission and Bad Oil Pan

Hi, I have a 1991 z28 Camaro. It has a standard 5 speed transmission and a 305 TPI H.O. My problem seems to lay inside the bell housing. I am having chirping noises whenever I let off the clutch, but when I press down slightly or rest my foot on the clutch they go away. I know its not a fluid level in the transmission because recently I changed the fluids while doing the flywheel, clutch, flex plate, and throwout bearing. That is the first thing I have noticed. The second thing I have noticed is the car chatters from at start and doesn't shift smoothly like when I first put the new components in. I am not entirely sure what it is, but I have a few ideas (more on that in a second). Next the oil pan gasket needs to be changed all around because it leaks oil. If the oil pan gasket is bad all around and leaking oil, then could it potentially be finding its way onto the surface of the flywheel and causing the chatter? Could this be a rear main seal as well? Just tossing some Ideas out there.

Thanks for your time,

-Ted

MPIpowered 4x4,

I understand what your saying, but there just can't be anyway that is possible. There are less than 1000 miles on the clutch, flywheel, flex plate, and throw out bearing; however i'll take your advice and double check it. Thank you very much for your input.

I have seen the flywheels get machined wrong and cause a chatter as well.
