I have a motor with a broken main cap. Its not a front cap or the rear cap but one from the center. Please let me know ASAP if you have one you could sell. Trying not to have to spend $100 on the 3 pack from summit plus have it line honed for another $250.00.

 

Or since the cost would work out about the same if someone has a block they wanna sell thats prepped for a rebuild I would go that route as well.

 

i have a bare 4 bolt 010 block that has been painted black, has new freeze plugs and cam bearings, and was bored 30 over. its a very nice block and i was just going to trade it to someone for a rear end but it fell through. however the one main stud hole has a heli-coil in it. i ran it with the heli-coil for a year with no problems what so ever. you could either have it re tapped and threaded or just run it with the heli-coil in there its your choice. let me know what you think and where you live at because i dont really want to ship it. after that we will talk about a price if you want it.

 

Thanks for the offer but I think I have a set found. Just waiting on the auction to end im the only bidder so far and it ends tomorrow. I would have buy new pistons for that block as well since the pistons I bought are for a standard block.

 

Am I correct in assuming that all 4 bolt 350 caps that are stock straight bolt and arent splayed will fit my lt1?
