Disregard--LT1 Heads FOUND!!

I'm needing a set of stock LT1 heads that are in good condition (no cracks, etc.).

I need casting number 10207643 or 10128374 for porting and reworking.

Thanks!

Re: LT1 Heads Needed

I have a couple of sets of alum LT1 heads taking up space in the garage. I would have to check casting #s though. Are 10207643 or 10128374 aluminum or iron?

Re: LT1 Heads Needed

The heads I pulled off the LT1 in the 97 Camaro were the lightweight castings (DARN IT!!). Nothing is wrong with the heads that were on the LT1, but I need the heavier castings to do the porting and stuff. Advanced Induction is going to do my heads...they're awesome heads when they get done with them. The cores have to be castings 10207643 or 10128374, for them to work.

Re: LT1 Heads Needed

Are they in good condition? I mean no cracks or damage and suitable for porting and milling and building?

Re: LT1 Heads Needed

Sorry it took so long.....Holidays ya know. I checked numbers on the easiest set for me to get to and it was 10207643.

The heads are assembled with valves / springs / retainers and locks. In great shape, directly off a running Z28.

What do you think about $150 + shipping (from Seattle area)?

If you're interested I can take some pics etc...
