looking for a 5sp engine wiring harness.

I have a 92 T/A 305 TPI 5sp. About two years ago it started knocking. At 167000 miles I figured it was time to pull the motor and put my 383 in it and swap to carb. So I need a harness that I can hack up to make my gauges work. I'd cut my harness up but its a speed density harness and I may go back to stock later in life. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!! I've never bought anything off here before so please help me out with payment.

Re: looking for a 5sp engine wiring harness.

If you remove the wiring harness that comes from the passenger side fender, it will help quite a bit. Just unplug it from the computer and remove the fender liner and pull through. This should be for you injectors and other sensors. You can save it for later.

The harness beside the brake booster is for the gauges/starter/alternator. This should clean up the bay without having to buy another harness.

I removed the harness from the pass. side. But it runs over to the driver side and plugs in next to the booster with the headlights harness.

Does it have mechanical or electric gauges?
