i am looking for a rear end for my 1991 z28 5 speed. i have recently discovered that my car was orgionally an automatic, and the rear end has 2.77 posi. i am looking for either a 3.42, or 3.73, must be a posi and i would like it to have disc brakes but if had drums that would be ok too. im also looking for some interior parts such as rear speaker covers, third tail light assembly, and i need a front liscens plate bracket as well. the interior is grey, email me with anything you have at nhslacrosse2@yahoo.com im located in sussex county NJ thanks

 

know anyone coming thru indiana soon? I dont know the gear ratio though.
Any way to easily tell if the plate is not there? Someone pulled off the cover but gears are all there. Need ur email for pics. disc posi as far as i remember

well i need to know the gear ratio in the rear before i try and make arrangements to get it. im pretty sure the gear ratio should be stamped on one of the gears in the rear end.. you could also spin the tire one time and cout hom many times the drive shaft goes around.

I have a 10 bolt 3.73, disc brake, LCARB's, long ARP wheel studs, does need a carrier though, sides and spiders are out of this one. $150.00 plus the ride.

I have a 10 bolt with 4:11s in it, with posi, and a bullet proof cover. If you are interested I will sell for cheap! Its just sitting in my garage, because I put in a new rear end this winter.

 

what would i have to do in order to make it a working rear end? im not really familiar with rears. is it posi?

I have a front license plate bracket off of an '89 Camaro if you still need one. Also, keep in mind that if you buy one of those rear carriers, your axles are the 28 spline.

 

Found one from an 86 TA thats has disc brakes, borg warner 2.77 or 2.73 which ever it was i forget. But it showed about 88 k in the car. bTorque arm included as pic , I would go $350 + shipping.

thanks but i got my hands on a front license plate bracket the other day

 

im in ohio and i have a 9 bolt posi with 3.27, i will let go im parting it out going with a diff body style, very nice but drums, was just rebuild like a year ago and drove it for like 200 miles if that, can send pics and im looking to get 200
