Re: Need Distributor/Single Fan
I've got an OEM GM distributor. Small amount of surface rust, works great. No shaft play or gear wear. Get me you email address for pics and other info, Henry
Assuming you want stock remote coil model
This one has less slight rust than the one in my car, and just on top. The rest is real clean

Oh yeah, are you looking for the whole fan set up, or just fan blade or housing? Motor kind of heavy to ship. Can get at most parts places

Re: Need Distributor/Single Fan
i have a distributor also, for the TBI v-8 engines.
be aware that there are two sizes of them due to different size hole in the intake manifolds for the mounting base of them
car and truck differ in diameter
ive found out the hard way in the past
you would think theyre the same as were all the HEI ones on the carb engines but nope they did something stupid dont know why and have two different sizes of distrib hole
crazy,,,
i have a good smaller sized hole one from a 1990 350
if anyone else is looking
the thing that happens to these is shaft bushing wear and it causes erratic ignition and so it runs crazy weird or stumbles or misses or dies or hard to start randomly
it is something to check if you know your fuel system is fine and also engine and other grounds and ign coil and ign module are ok as well.
the pure white pastey heat sink compound under the ign module is required, and not the clear cloudy gel looking dielectric grease stuff that they always give you with new plug wires and electrical connectors etc.
use the wrong stuff and youll overheat and kill the module
random stalling and or no start etc.
