dang. that sounds like a good price. and dont mean to sound stupid, ive never done any rear end work before, but what are sides and spiders? do you mean the spider gears in the differential? and also what is lcarb? and if i have regular GTA wheels will the long studs be ok? and is it a limited slip unit?
dont mean to bother you by all the questions. thanks!

Re: 3.73 ring and pinion

They will work with long studs, but you would have to use open end lug nuts. lcarb's= lower control arm relocation brackets. This was an open rear end, would need new side and spider gears installed to make it work properly. It had a mini-spool installed, and was removed with plans to install side and spiders, but have never got around to installing.

so if i have a series 3 carrier in working order i can just bolt on the gear to that and install to have a working rear? or no? and with the relocation brackets would i be able to use the rear with my stock setup or not?

Re: 3.73 ring and pinion

Yes, take out the current carrier, and install your carrier. Done deal, not sure on the year brakes for changing from 26 to 28 spine axles, though, at most you would change out axles as well. Yes, you can use the lcarb's in a stock setup.
