350 Roller Block

Had a lifter destroy my short block. I am looking to do an OEM roller block for my next build. If anyone has a 350 roller block I would be interested in taking it off your hands. Thanks.

Re: 350 Roller Block

sorry. to hear your pain... I had a sealed power roller pin let go... and groove the bore...
if its a clean straight line... your good to go... they actually groove race block lifter bores on purpose...

Re: 350 Roller Block

Took a chunk off the cam and jammed it into the block. I believe it is cracked and will need to be replaced.

Re: 350 Roller Block

get one from a 91-93 caprice or roadmaster...8th vin number is a "7" for 350

if 8th vin is a "E" thats a roller 305

all those year cars had roller cam motors in them. and are easier to find

Re: 350 Roller Block

I have a real nice roller shortblock. It is fresh and never been started. It is standard bore and the engine had really low miles so it was honed and has brand new TRW forged pistons, LT4 rods, Eagle crank and everything is balanced. Right now it has Vortec iron heads wiith GM Perf LS6 beehive springs, Comp Cams retainers and the heads have been converted to 7/16" screw in studs. I also have a LT4 HOT cam and 1.6 ratio true roller rockers. Its not all high dollar but no junk. $1800 for everything. I have receipts for all the parts over $3000

Re: 350 Roller Block

I just read your signature. Sounds like you had a nice motor. Probably a little better than mine.

Thanks for the offer. Your motor sounds nice and all, but I am looking to go to the next level. If I have to pull it out might as well make it worth it. :-)
