Hello All,

The hardline vacuum hose keeps popping out of the little right angle boot that fits on the EGR of my 89 Camaro. I have no idea where to get another one of these. I did find that I can buy the entire harness (I believe its GM part 10105217) for 25-35 bucks shipped (if its actually in stock), but I was hoping to just get the boot dropped in an envelope with a stamp or two on it. If anyone has one available, or knows if I can source it someplace locally it would make my day.

the 10105217 was the plastic line and rubber boot. the boots usually can be re glued to repair.

 

if you can't reglue your let me know I think I have one I can look for.

 

did you ever fix yours ?

 

Hey thanks to getting back to me so quickly. I think mine has stretched too much to repair, when you say glue it, do you suggest just plugging it with RTV or some such? If you have an extra one in better shape I'd appreciate it. Let me know what you'd be willing to let it go for, and I'll paypal it up. I'm in NC so let me know what the easiest way for you to ship it would be.

I have use 3m spray adhesive on boots that are not too oil swelled and rtv with success. I will post a picture tomorrow. shoot me a offer. -Brian

 

 

Hmm, the one I need looks a little different (I just noticed its labeled DLH-6) I think the one in your picture is on the other end, unless someones done some modifications? I've included a pic of the part I have. Is ten bucks shipped enough to make it worth your time?

Sorry, I thought you needed the egr solenoid connector. I will go look I think I have that. I posted the 85-87 top and 88-92 bottom.

Post 10 is marked f6 not sure if it's the sizing. It appears the same for under the throttle body and right at the egr valve. I'm fine with that price and PayPal but pm me your address it will not show up when gifted. I will mail it tomorrow. The PayPal address is correct.

 

Hmm, the one I have is different then the TB one, but the TB one works fine on the EGR so someone might have fudged this at some point in the cars history. Everything sounds good.

Should be a tight fit. I had to cut the tube and use pliers to remove the tube.
