Try Streering Column Parts, they are on the web. Is the bearing ring still in tact, and are all the bearings there?

The ring appears to be in tact, and bearings are there, its just 'fallen apart' can press it back together with any success or will it just fail again?

Re: WTB Upper Steering Column Bearing

Use general purpose grease which is red in color and pack both sides well, this will give a good hold on the bearings. Should not fail after this is done.

Re: WTB Upper Steering Column Bearing

Just realized that it is the bearing race that has cracked, so it wont stay together

Re: WTB Upper Steering Column Bearing

Ok, so I located what I need at the dealership $80..... also tracked down a compatible part on ebay $24.95 with free shipping to the US (I'm in Canada....) and seller wont ship to me........

So if I pay for the item off ebay would anyone be happy to have it mailed to their US address and then forward it on to me, obviously I will reimburse the cost of postage costs, come on, do a guy a favor lol

Re: WTB Upper Steering Column Bearing

I'm thinking an S10 might be my first choice because they seem to generally share a lot of parts with Thirdgens.

How difficult is it to remove the bearing?
