edelbrock smog legal headers

Stupid question, but what about them Makes them smog legal? Just the spot for the EGR?

They would have AIR tubes to be legal.

I have a set of headers that I assume are Edelbrock. They came on the car when I bought it. Guy was an Edelbrock fan: valve covers, timing cover, carb, intake, etc... I assume the headers are too, but I don't see any logo. They have a threaded hole for an AIR tube, but it isnt tapped. Shorties, with the Y pipe to leave the cat where she sits stock. Could you use the stock AIR tube? I have on of those as well.
