Looking for a rear end for my 87 IROC.

A housing would be ok, but I prefer a posi/disc setup so I can just switch my damaged one out.

Do you have a 10 bolt or a 9 bolt?

 

Just checked the rear end and it is definitely a 10 bolt.

 

I have a 10 bolt one wheel wonder drum rear from a 92, complete less e-brake cables and drums. Granny geared. I won't have a use for it, $20+ shipping and it's yours. I'm in Kansas, though, I don't foresee shipping being cheap.

 

I have a 10 bolt 3.42 posi disc rear but no brakes $250

I also have a 9 bolt 3.27 posi disc w/brakes (PBR's) new rotors and pads
but the E-brake cables are for a 4th gen it it would require a special bracket
to connect them $450
I can make the bracket

 

dixie: thanks for the offer. I'll keep you in mind if I cannot find something local.

dyno don: does the 10 bolt have the axles and everything else needed? also is it tight and useable or would I have rebuild? I am definitely interested as I am located in North County San Diego.

 

The 10 bolt 3.42 is complete less brakes.
It is ready to use.
