I know its a long shot but I'm on the lookout for this cam. If you have one I'm interested!

 

FYI it's the same camp as the COMP 503. I've run and measured both. Exactly the same.

What other MODs did you have on the car you run this cam?

I'm looking for the SLP primarily because it's an SLP part but maybe Ill put the car together with the 503 and when and if I ever find the SLP cam maybe Ill swap it in.

 

In the 90's I ran an actual 51010 cam on a 355 TPI, SLP runners, and so on. Car ran around 103 mph in the 1/4 naturally aspirated.

I'm 99% positive Comp cams made those cams for SLP, and the 51010 is just a reboxed 503. I've since used the 503 in a bunch of different builds. It's one of my favorite street cams for SBC.

I always wondered if it was comp or crane.

I still have my original slp 51010, plus picked up another just a few yrs ago.
the specs changed from the early ones to the newer ones. Wonder if it was typo, supplier change or actually a little different cam
