hey everyone bolted everything on today went to put the valve covers on guess what.. they wouldnt go on.. now these covers came off a regular tpi motor with non vortec heads but they are still cneterbolt valve covers.. it almost looks like the studs where the bolts go through the covers are to long and hitting the head.. any one else had this problem or should i just cut the stud?? thanks for the help

i wouldnt think the vortec heads took a different cover but i could be wrong i guess please let me know asap!!! thanks

 

I took the stock valve covers off of my 91 305 and fit them onto my Vortecs perfectly. Yours should swap too. I would go try it again
