will a 305 or a 350 bolt up to my v6 tranny? what cars/trucks came with a 350 that would bolt up?

oops sorry its a auto 3speed with overdrive. i think i read its got the 700r4 in it.

 

No problem. The reason I asked is that the five speed will with some modifications (clutch and bellhousing), but the automatics will not (they have a nonremovable bellhousing). I do not know about the 4 speeds used in early thirdgens.

 

so want tranny do i need since i've got the auto? what kind of car would i find one in?
