ok guys i have an 88 305 TPI
i dont know what im going to do yet (350 or 305)
but i do know is the only thing worth saving in my motor are the heads
all else is shot

so i need a new(used) block

what years would fit....and if its not out of a camaro would i have to change anything, would my computer work with it? i dont want to have to get a custom chip or anything

if i found a chevy truck block from the 80s could i just get it rebuilt and bolt my TPI back on it?

what would have to change? and I might consider going to a non-roller motor if its all i can find. I just want her to run again, im not all about power
