Are Sterling Hypereutectic Pistons any good?
I am planning on building a mild 350 street motor so I have decided on hyperutectic pistons. Are the Sterling Hypereutectic Pistons any good? Here is a link to summit's site: http://store.summitracing.com/produc...earchtype=ecat
Its a little bit odd that some cast aluminum pistons cost more than these hyperutectic.

At the marine engine shop I worked at in high school there were two cheap-azz pistons they'd use for low buck rebuilds: Badger and Sterling. The builders hated them...big variations in weight, poor packaging and they'd arrive damaged, etc.
You can do better for very close to the same price with Keith Black or Federal Mogul. I'm running FM H631P 2 valve relief 5.7" rod hypers and no complaints after 3 years.
