What motor should I use?
What motor should I use?
I have a 350 with 4 bolt mains and a 406, that is currently in the car. The 406 would come to get forged parts if I use this motor. Which motor should I use? I am going to build the motor with 800-900 hp. To obtain this hp rating I will also be using a D-1 or D-1SC ProCharger, not sure which one I want yet. This car will also be a daily driver when done. Any other suggestions would be great.
Also what fuel injection system should I get to go with the motor? The car is currently carbureted.
Thanks

well i think the goal would be reached easier with the 406,you can make mor epower with more cubes,as youve probably discovered. If you decide to go fuel injection i think it would be cool to either do the stealth ram or miniram. Not sure about the actual ECM and stuff tho.

How much money you got?
Anyway, I'd ditch the 350 if you are really trying to get 800hp. I'm not even sure the factory 400 block will take that sort of abuse for too long. I'd use something like the Accel pro-flo, or holley has a similar setup that I dont know the name of but saw yesterday, DFI or preferably a Fast/SpeedPro ecm. I'd also forget the daily driver idea, an 800hp car is not a daily driver.
