Im in the middle of an lt-1 swap, its going in my 89 iroc-z. I have a couple of questions. Do i need another fuel pump? i had a 350 tpi in the car so im not sure if i would need another pump.

What is VATS? I was reading the swappers guied thing at the top of this forum and got lost with everyone talking about some 8 or 16 wire plug in thing. I also would like to ceep the ac, what kind of PITA is that? How can i get the wirring harness in and working in about 4 days? Im using the Howell wirring harness and sending in my old computer and $200 for them to reprogram it or something so it will be like the 94 and 95 computers, i need some feed back on this idea. Thanks alot guys

I also would like to know about some performance gains from doing this swap. I know some one sent me a post talking about how they ran a 12.9 with headers and 3 inch exhaust. Can this be done with just exhaust? later

If they had an A4 with a stall in it to begin with, then it may be possible.

My brothers 96 with exhaust and some bolt ons ran a 13.4, and it is a 6 speed. With an A4 and a Yank 3400 stall, he'd be running 12.9
