Switching LG4 to L69

The LG4 in my Berlinetta is dying, I want to get it ready to sell, but I dont want to sell it with the dead engine, I have the complete L69 from my 85' ROC, my question is, can I pull the LG4 then put the intake and the carb onto the L69 and drop that in, and have it work with no problems?

Thanks

Why do that instead of replacing the whole engine? There is no outward physical difference between the L69 and LG4. Unless there is some fuel injection stuff going on here it should just drop right in and bolt up.

well, i want to keep the TPI set up so that i can put it into a different car, but I also want the berlinetta to have a good running engine before I sell it, otherwise the L69 block will just rot away because I will never use it.

I think you are referring to a lb9. The l69 is the higher performance carbed motor and the lb9 is the tpi.

It should work with no problems.
