lt1 swap hard?
lt1 swap hard?
i was think'n of pick'n up a low mileage lt1 n drop'n it in my 91', but i don't know much about this swap really, i have a WC t-5 trans, i'm not think'n it'll hold up to a lt1, i would think after some mods it'll have too much power for the t-5. but i need to know if this swap is hard and if i need to swap out the trans. also does it even bolt right in or do u need to mod the engine bay? anyone who has done the swap please reply!

The swap isn't that hard. It is time consuming however.
There are several guys who are running t5s behind lt1s. I wouldn't be running any stick tires though. Eventually they will reach the duribality limit of a t5. If you are planning on keeping your ac you will have to notch the crossmember to fit the lt1 compressor on. If you don't care about ac use a 1le deleat pulley and the motor drops right in.
Hope this helps.
