Bum 305 Engine anyone?

Guys I know most of you probably won't want to take me up on this deal but if anyone wants to buy a bum 305 engine or just parts from it please let me know. This engine has quite a few miles on it, 140k to be precise. I've got it torn down to the block right now (it's still in my 1987 Trans Am) The heads are fine there's nothing wrong with them at all. As for the block I'm pretty sure there's something with an upper or lower bearing because one of the pistons has some wear around the outer rim of it on the top (that's all I can see really) I think it's a bearing or something because the piston must have been hitting the head, but trust me both heads are fine I checked them out very thoroughly. I am willing to sell any parts from the engine itself besides the lifters (I don't have a lifter retaining tool and pulled them out with vise grips so they can't be used anymore). I'm being completely honest and am not trying to sell something without giving all information on it to the best of my knowledge. So, if anyone wants parts e-mail me at Soulrev@hotmail.com because I need some money to buy a 350 which is going to take me roughly 4 months to save up for with my average paychecks. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Now one question I have is will my water pump from my 305 work on my 350? If not I'll sell the water pump too, there's nothing wrong with it. I'm getting headers as well so if anyone wants a set of exhaust manifolds (Yeah right you guys don't want those :P) let me know, they're in good shape. Umm that's all I can think of right now just let me know if any of you want this stuff.. Thanks

Your 305 has quite a few miles? 140K? LAFF. My 305 has 325K and is still a daily driver and runs strong. There is no secret to getting high miles from a chevy small block, just change your oil and use good quality gas.

You may want to try this link and get a hold of Firebreather.

He was looking for a set of heads. I don't know if he found any yet.
