Summit has a good kit depending on what you plan on doing. For $1,099.95 you get the cast crank, Stage II rods, hypereutectic pistons, rings, bearings, oil pump, and all the gaskets you need to do a full overhaul. Now that's how much some of the parts cost, you still need an external balanced damper and flexplate, unless you talk to the machinest and have him internally balance the whole assembly (BIG $$$$). Besides those components, make sure the base circle of what ever cam you choose to go with isn't too big to where it will hit the rods during rotation. And last but of course not least, call either your machinest or a local and find out how much it'll cost to clearance the block and blueprint everything. There is where most of you money is wisely spent, the more balancing and blueprinting done precisly the better. Good luck!

Get an Eagle kit out of Jegs or a machine shop. The cost is about the same, but the components are a lot better. In fact the entire rotating assembly is steel and is balanced and included balancer and flexplate in the kit.
