I haven't exactly diagnosed the problem with my 305 but I'm almost positive a bearing is shot because two apposing pistons have damage on them from hitting the heads. I don't know what number they are, they're the third set back if you were looking at the engine from the front of the car. Anyhow I heard all you have to change is the prom and fuel injectors when swapping from a 305 to a 350. In my case, while my car is down and since I won't have the money for an engine until October, and I'll have to put my car away for the winter by then anyways, I'm going to go ahead and put a supercharger in it. I'm lookin for a 350 with forged pistons just to be safe.. I'll also be putting on a set of headers, a Holley DIS, and that's about it. Later on I'll get one of those 4th gen style ram air hoods when they come out with functional airboxes, and while I'm getting that I'll get a new paint job since the original owner of my car took absolute **** care of the car. He/she obviously took it to automatic car washes because the clear coat looks awful, and the dumbass replaced the fan, wired it up so he could use a toggle switch, and the fan is held onto the radiator with some kinda wires. There's no fan shroud, so no wonder why my car was overheating in the few hot days that it was actually running.

Ok well if anyone can tell me where to find-

A 350 engine with forged pistons (I just need to know if it's possible to get one and if there happens to be any over the net dealers I can go through)

A good fan & shroud for my car

And a prom burner (I need everything required to do that)

I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks.
