v6 to 350 TPI.........
well........it looks like its finally going to happen
once i get the Z28 on the road, i am going to buy all the parts and do it
i feel i have learned so much from going to school to become a GM mechanic, that i am finally ready to do this
i am going to get:
a TPI system
NEW gm goodwrench 350 longblock
radiator
motor mounts
headers
altenator
starter
water pump
PS pump
harmonic balancer
i mite reuse the T5, or i mite get one of the mechanics work with to rebuild my 700R4
instead of swapping harnesses, i think i am just going to modify my existing 3.1 MPFI Speed Density harness
i looked at some schematics and this seems VERY easy and VERY possible
oh yeah i also know i will need a new tach, but i think i am going with cyberdyne digital gauges
questions, comments, opinions.............................
i know you might say just sell the car and buy an IROC...............
a decent IROC 350 will cost me anywhere from $3000-$6000
i can only get like $1000 for my car because it has 185,000 miles
the parts for this swap should cost me just under $2500
oh yeah, i'll also need a 350 PROM.........................
i am going to begin shopping for parts in about a month
wish me luck guys
