4.3 swap

this is kind of an original idea, but it's not mine. this is from the augest 2002 hot rod mag:
"Even more interesting, Allstar Performance sells brackets to swap a 90 degree V-6 where a V-8 used to be, and the resulting engine setback could make this thing killer for handling applications in, say, a Third-gen F-Body."
i think they have a killer idea going here. "this thing" is reffering to the 300 horse 4.3 V-6 that hot rod built. with peak HP at 5500 RPM and peak torque is 316 ft lbs at 4400rpm. imagine, take say a formula, ws6 suspension, put in some sub frame connectors, 16 in. formula wheels with good touring tires, fiberglass and lightweight metal up the ying yang, gutted interior, then slap this little 4.3 in it, and run it on over to the autocross. i think it's a neat idea. if i had the money to build a 4.3 with 300 hp, i'd do it, lol. then take the V8 from the formula and put it in an S-10. paint the two to match eachother, use the s-10 to trailer the autocross formula, and call the two, "reverse phsychology" that would be F'n AWESOME!!!!!

Yeah that would be a really cool idea. What would be even more cool is if someone actually did it.

yeah but what kind of dumbass would actually do it. it'd have to cost as much or more to run te v6 as a 350 and you'd be making lots of parts and brackets.
