OK, if I install a new 350 into my IROC, and add headers (Elderbrock in my case) how do you connect the A/C and other accessory brackets that use the forward exhaust manifold bolt? The stock forward bolt has a stud sticking out and the accessory bracket goes on and a nut holds the bracket in place. What have you guys done to support the brackets? Pictures would be a great help!

 

I just made a spacer such that the thickness of the flange plus the spacer was equal to the thickness of the exhaust manifold, and used the stock hardware. I'm pretty stupid actually so I keep things as simple as possible.

Some spacers come in the TES kit (at least they did in mine) but they were too long to use for anything; 30 seconds of hacksawing later, problem solved, perfectly. All my A/C and PS brackets are back on in their stock locations, the A/C blows cold.

 

Exactly what I did to mount my P/S without AC and acc holes in my DH heads.
