fired it up last night around midnight ! What an awesome sound open headers r. Will be finshing up loose ends tonight (extra wires from the 3.1 tv linkage and hood back on). Hopefully the trans will be all right and Ill take the morning off work to drive it into town to get the exhaust installed.
I want to have true duals with 3 inch on it hopefully the shop can be creative to get it done without sacrificing too much ground clearance.

By the way guys my 17 year old son did it all with just some advice from me and help with the drop in. It realy isnt that hard to do, but we dont have to worry about emisions either. Staying with a carb also helps simplify the process. The front end doesnt set any lower either but we do still plan on changin them down the road.

 

thats good to hear but what motor do you have in it now?

Last week, I was working on the T/A I am wanting to buy and had to put in a new starter. We ran it with open headers and that beast became alive after a few years of storage. It' only has a 305 in it but it was louder then my friends hopped-up 427 . Don't ask me why but it was. I'll post some pics soon of the beast later.
