91 formula 350 tbi for $500 delivered to my door with 70,000 miles to go in my 87 Z28 that is a 305 carb? thnks

or a 91 truck motor dont know what 60,000 mile 350 tbi $500 delivered. both have a 90 day warrenty

 

91 Formulas didn't come with a 350 TBI.

If it's a 91 Formula TBI motor, it's a 305. You don't want it. It's a worse set of castings than your LG4. But since you're being misled about what it is, it doesn't matter what it is, stay away from it.

The truck TBI 350 is one of the worst 350s there is. It has the same anti-performance swirl-port design heads as the TBI 305s. The short block, except the cam, is OK though. If you get that, and replace the heads and cam with something decent, you can end up with something pretty strong.

Neither is just a drop-in answer to all the questions of the universe though. Go drive a 91 Chevy pickup and you'll see exactly what I mean.

 

Ok thnks its from a junk yard guess the guy doesnt know his motors that well nither do I ofcourse. Ill keep lookin. my car is still goin but she be knockin pretty bad. poor thing. Ill keep looking and callin oh one other ?? can U just put a new intake and carb on tbi motor any perfomance diff there with new heads?

 

ok Ive got another one for you guys out of a 96 maro a 350 with 50,000 miles heads rebuilt 10,000miles ago 1000 for motor and 500 for the auto trans. I might just keep my trans in there though for nnow and have the other one rebuilt in the mean time. I dont have the time ritght now. need the car fixed. the knockin is bad yes I have tripple A if it dies on my way to work. is this worth the money?? thnks

 

Oh the heads were rebuilt to put in a new cam with roller rockers. thnks
