will this cam work ok???

hello all..i have a 355 TPI in my 89 ROC which is running with the stock 305 ECM (was a 305 tpi ) I am looking at this cam..wonder if it will work ok..the power band is good..but need some input..maybe some suggestions on what can be done to use it more effectively.specs are as follows

Lunati #50178 112' Sep DUR @ 50 206.0 215.0
gross duration is 258.0 268.0
lift @ 50 469.0 486.0

this cam they say is good for speed density L-98's OR 92-93 LT1

Can this cam work out for me??? 355 cid AFP-50lbs 22 lb injectors...heads are 10110810 decked .010 stock exhaust manifolds all hooked up to a B/W T5.

thanks for your time and help

That's a really mild cam, not too much more than the stock one, except the lobe centers are closed up a bit which will help it have better midrange at the expense of a very slightly rough idle. It should work fine.

If you want to really wake that motor up, lose the exhaust manifolds... you won't believe it's the same motor with a set of headers on it.

will this cam work

Thanks for getting back to me...i see that this cam will work which is awesome..You mentioned headers...what type or part number works the best..Hooker...SLP...etc.I really should replace the heads..but i just don't have that cash right now. They are off a 92 cruiser (Police) car...don't know the flow on them either, but they seem to work good---10110810 is the number on them.

PLease let me know which header i should go with

thanks again

Brent
