How to swap an engine

Engine: 5.7 gm H.O. crate engine
Transmission: 700r4
well, im just about ready to pull it now, i just have to figure out what ill do about the pullies. the ac and aip pump are gone. do u guys have any tips on what to do? i dont want to have to leave that bracket in there just for the tensioner, nor do i really want to buy that idler pully. is there a way to route it? i did search but couldnt find anything

Just one thing to add to the Post about how to remove it step by step. I recently Removed the engine outta mine (LT1 Goin in!) and the easiest way to remove the tranny was to unbolt the 2 bottom, and 2 middle bolts, and the way i got the top ones off because tools didnt reach it was to get like 3 LONG extensions, like 3 feet or so, and go from where the driveshaft connects to the tranny. Sounds wierd, but if you are lookin from back there, you can see the bolt fine. It came of EASY. I was in Auto Shop and had it on a lift 6 feet up, mabey that made it easier, but it doesnt look too hard on the ground either, lol
