LS1 Engine kit

This might be somethin for me to really strive for. But I wonder how hard its gonna be to stuff it in. Any ideas on it are apreciated....this is the link http://www.bgcperformanceparts.com/default2.cfm

Looks like a bad idea to me. Theres no accessories, probably missing some related components (o2 sensors and fuel pump come to mind) and theres no tranny. You can get everything you need from a local auto wrecker for that, even where I live and places around here are super expensive. Only good thing about that engine is its new, but IMO its not worth the huge cost. Keep in mind too that this 'kit' doesnt include anything you need to swap it into your thirdgen.

Yeah...good point...i did a little more looking on that site and they have a crate 350 thats turnkey for like 3,100 i believe. That might be a more realistic approach. But who knows what will happen...maybe ill just rebuild the 305 when the time comes. Basically i want to hit 13's in the 1/4. But i wouldnt mine puttin up 23mpg on the hwy either. Maybe i would be better off with the 305. Specially with a nice suspension setup (which is the next big thing im workin on). But im sure ill here alot on this one.

THanks....
