How do you pull the pins out of the drivers side harness plug?

I am at the end of an engine swap over (92 305 TBI to 89 TPI)and I am stuck at the wiring harness. I need to repin the plug on the drives side that connects to the firewall, I can't seem to figure out how the pins come out of the plug. If you know please help!
Thanks
John

There's a little clip on the pin that holds it in. Most harness plugs now all come out backwards. When you release the pin it will come out the front of the plug not out the back.

So if i need to repin it I need to cut the wires and splice them back together??

Is that what I need to do??

I was trying to avoid that.
