hears the thing i have a 2.8 way to slow for me i want to be able to give a good race to hondas and volks wagans all those imports. now if i put a 305 could i do it??

 

yeah why not? pony killer beat a 5.0 fox body mustang with the iron duke in a f body any thing can happen.

 

If he is a better driver than you he could I beat a 5.0 many times in my integra cause the people didnt know how to drive!! otherwise yeah u should beat them

 

i did this swap and it was a pan in the butt unless you can get a 305 for an amazing deal go for the 350. its got the same bolt pattern and if you look around you can find one for just a bit more than the 305. with a 350 imports wont even be in your class, you will look down on them like insects buzzing around. by the way just for comparason my driver (an 02' neon w/K&N filter) will beat a 305 w/ headers, dual exaust, and a 4barrel carb.my best time w/ the bird at 1/8th mile is 10.4 at 65mph,the neon will run 10 flat
