anyone read about the place that sells phased out nascar parts in hot rod??

better yet anyone ordered and used any?

I was looking and I LIKE their crank and rod combinations for chevys. they would fit nicely into my plans for a wild destroked 400 block buildup.

 

you may want to check if that stuff will fit because i'm almost positive the nascar sb2 block uses a bbc snout

Haven't bought anything from them myself, but a local guy I know with a Corvette bought a motor and that thing's impressive.
It'll spin 8000 rpms all day.
All Nascar except for pistons (lower cr).
They have a lot of nice goodies.
As far as the crank snout goes, they sell a small block timing cover that fits the big block snout/dampner, so it's not that big of a problem.

yea I knew about the crank snout thing. did the guy with the vette buy a whole motor from them or did he build one with parts they sell??

 

He built it from their parts. Bought as a kit.
Bought Block, Heads, Crank, Rods, Cam, Lifters, Rockers, Etc.
Just about everything but pistons and rings.Converted to wet sump (because he didn't have room for the dry sump plumbing).
Still a little too radical for daily driver but cam change would help in that area.
It's an older vette (no smog test)
Sure sounds good!
Still a bunch of Money, but a lot less than if he'd bought everything new.
