OK first the LS1 ive been reading on the motorswap board and my only problem now the mounts ive heard there are custom mounts i can buy where i can get them i have no clue if anyone knows where i can get them your help will be appreciated.

Now the 400 ive heard that i should have enough room for a chevy 400 to fit snug in but i dont know if it is for SB or BB chevy and i dont want to find out this thing won't fit after trying to put this thing in. If anyone can help thats tried and know how much its gonna costs or what kind of mounts or what kind of room under the hood i actually have it would help alot thanks.

 

I don't know about the LS1, but the 400 is no problem. The small block Chevy 400 is externally the same as a 350 or 305. It would pretty much drop right in.

 

Do not know who makes the mounts, but it's not hard to have some fabricate them. The LS1 $wap is not cheap, however it's worthwhile. The guys who have done them run high 11's and low 12's with stock engines and still get 22mpg!
