LT4 cam question for LT1 swappers

I am putting an LT4 hot cam in my LT1 before I put it in my car, I have a few questions.
1. Do the springs fit directly or do I have to modify the heads
2. do I need the screw in studs-if so how hard to install
I appreciate any help!!!

are you getting the Hotcam kit? springs and all? I believe the heads must be clearanced for the springs but I'm not sure, maybe someone else knows. you can still use your stock springs with the Hotcam though, the lift of the cam is within the limits of the stock springs. and screw in studs are not necessary

If you get the hotcam kit from scoggin dickey, it's all a straight swap...No machining is required.

I wouldn't run the hot cam with stock springs. I know it has been done, but I wouldn't do it .
If your heads are aluminum they have skrew in studs.

You might want to get better springs than the ones that come in the LT4 Hotcam kit. They work but they are working at their maximum capacity. I'm not sure about the details on this one but if you check out www.corvetteforum.com and go to C4 Tech/Performance you will find everything you wanted to know and more about the LT1.

I am going to order the kit and I am installing it myself. The rocker studs and the no machining are good news. Are there any special tips or tricks I need to know about the springs? I would like to install them and new seals with the heads on the engine(compressed air in the cylinder), but was wondering if this would be a problem with aluminum heads. I have done it before on older engines, but I am new to the LT1. I appreciate the responses and future replies.

P.S. I have to use the supplied springs for now due to monetary limits.
