305 LG4 to 355 I need help!!!
Ok this has probably been asked 50 million times, But what all is involed in swapping in a 355, non computer controlled anything into an 82 Z? Alot of the wiring on my car is messed up plus I was planning on dropping in a non-computer motor anyway. I got a built 355 and I am putting a Holley 650 double pumper. What all is involved with the swap? What kind of problems with I run into with eletrical. The trans is a Turbo-350 with a mean shift kit. I have done swaps on older cars but nothing in a 3rd gen so I am really new at this, Any help would be extremly appreciated!

You need a non-CC distributor to go along with the package.
Basically, find the distributor power and tach, alternator, water temp and oil pressure wires in the harness. Hook those up, everything else going to the engine is now extra.
Hooking the Holley to the throttle cable and kickdown cable will most likely require throttle arm studs and modified brackets.
