hi all, this is my first message on this board! have a question, i bought this 89 Z28 becuse i thought it would be a "fast" car but its sooo tired compared to my 81 350.should i put a 350 in with carb or should i put the tpi on it????

Knowing nothing about what your performance goals are or what shape your car is in -- the only reasonable advice is to tune the car to factory and/or try to make factory numbers. Then see if this does it for you ? If yes then great if not then start reading the TPI and Swap boards for what others have done who found themselves in the same circumstance. One thing is certain there is no shortage of choices you can make.
