i'm trying to make a big and hard decision right now. I have a 92 z28 1LE the next step i'm taking on the car is the engine. the final goal that i want to reach is 400-450 rearwheel HP out of the NA FI motor. Now the question I have is which way should I go rebuild the stock motor(2boltmains) or go with a crate(4bolt) also if i decided to go wit a crate motor should i go wit a GMPP short block and build it up or perhaps somethin like the new edelbrock FI crate motor which makes 425hp and comes wit a 2 yr/24,000mi warranty also does anyone have any ideas on total price for the enigine to reach my goal of 400-450 RW HP i was thinkin around 6000-7000 on a crate and less for the stocker thanx

OHH!! What I could do with $7k and a 350. Bore it, stroke it, port it and juice it!! 450 HP from a 350 isn't hard, but isn't cheap either. Question is, do you want it legal and streetable? What type of trany do you have? Will it handle that much HP? What about the suspension? Rear-end?
