Cleaning up Engine Bay

I pulled my enine out to swap in a new 2.8 and I HATE all this computer and emmisions crap. That ugly charcoal canister, and all those wires. How did you guys go about moving all this stuff to sand and paint your engine bay?

you can just take the stuff out then do the work on the bay and then put the stuff back in, just lable everything... or just move the stuff around and get to small areas at a time..
