motor swap wiring worries?!?!
motor swap wiring worries?!?!
I'm getting ready to finally get the L98 in my car. I have an L03 now. I'm just wondering how hard the wiring is going to be. Also for those of you that have already done the swap, what are some small things that are often overlooked? I have the Complete wiring harnes/computer and all the hard parts and the fuel pump all ready to go in. Also, how about the vaccuum routing? I'm leaving off the EGR and all the smog junk. I guess I'm looking for tips, so if you have any advice, please help me out.

Since you have the complete harness and ECM you should be ok. If I were in your position I would leave all the smog crap intact until I get it running properly. Then remove things in stages to make sure nothing gets hosed up. Be prepared to deal with codes as you remove these components.
