ZZ4 with injection
Guys,
My mate has bought an LT1 vette which as expected blows the doors off my 85 305TPI Transam, even though I have done loads of engine mods.
I would like now to remove the 305 complete with TPI and sell it as one and then replace it with a ZZ4 with some sort of injection set up.
I need to keep it totally reliable for touring Europe and to return sensible fuel consumption($6 a gallon in the UK)
What do you guys think
John

ZZ4, TPIS Big Mouth & runners, ported plenum, 52mm TB, AFPR, SLP headers and appropriate exhaust. Convert to later MAF or SD system, w/custom PROM (this is where you get that PROM burning equipment you've always wanted). 2500 stall converter, 3.23 gears.
You spank his LT1, get 8.5 km/l (sorry, I don't do Imperial...).
