Accel LT1 wiring kit

Does anyone know anything about this setup? The write-up from Jegs is below:

Install a TPI or LT1 in virtually any vehicle! Accel's Electronic Fuel Management System includes all the electronic components you need to install an LT1 or Tuned Port Injection 350 or 383 in virtually any car. It also converts the GM mass air sensing system to a speed density system, eliminating the restrictive mass air flow sensor, and adding several horsepower. This closed loop system includes a heated oxygen sensor to provide exhaust gas information to the ECU, which continually adjusts injector pulse width for optimum air-fuel mixture and peak part throttle performance. Performance can be precision tailored to the exact application using a PC or laptop computer and Accel's CALMAP calibration software (not included). Will not work on vehicles with electronic speed sensor.

it's quite pricey at $949.99, but sounds like a pretty good setup. what do you guys think?

The only thing that hits me up front is that it is a closed loop system. So it seems to me the engine won't be as efficent and able to compensate for changeing variables. And since it will be a speed density instead of MAF the (based upon my understaning) you may have to recalibrate everytime you add or take away anymods as the ecm will not automatically compensate. Other than that seems like one simple solution.

Its not just a wiring kit, its a stand along engine management system with harness, and if you're going to do that, get the Holley 950 system, summit should have it for a little cheaper than that accel, and its better, comes with the tuning software, etc.
