hey guys ive got and 86 TA with a ****ty old and worn 305 tpi setup. i want to rip it all out and put in the zz4 crate, now i no im gonna ahve to re-configure the comp and **** liek that since the zz4 is carb. but i wanna no if i should jsut re-build my 700r4 tranny or swap that out to for a better tranny. also what else is involved in doing the tpi to zz4 swap.

the 700r4 should be able to handle the zz4, whats the power of the engine? run the 700r4 and see what happens it should be able to handle it for awhile..
